This is my hack for cutting really clean circles in my landscape fabric.

I used a old dog food can, attached to a stick. Then I just heated it up with a torch, and I got some nice cutouts.

What a fantastic idea. This summer I planted 63 comfrey plants on a new plot that that was very weedy and grassy. I first rototilled it, then tried to pull out as much of the grass as possible. I then used a heavy duty tarp and cut X's with a box cutter in 18" intervals. The comfrey is now coming up very well with very little weed pressure. Thank s for the post and your genius idea. #GetShitDone #Homestead #GrowNostr

Thanks

I’d like to grow some comfrey soon!

I’ve heard many great things about comfrey!

Mind blown, genius idea. And thanks for sharing my tip earlier, I don't know who you know but I got smashed with zaps 😂

Thanks Mate

Check this out I cut most of this with a can and a piece of pipe attached to some pliers

Bloody he'll, that's a lot of work. Looks like it works well them.

Great idea. I love saving money and making work easier

Thanks I also made smaller ones using a piece of fence pipe.

Just don’t show it to any 80 or 90 year old veterans, they’ll try yo take you down with them. 😆

Right!

Here is a pic of my garden!

Most of my pattern was cut using my hot can trick!
