Hey peeps, I am new to nostr, and I am a bit confused, so I have a few questions
How do I connect a wallet to my nostr account? I managed, I think, to add a lightning address, michaeljburgess@vipstats.com, but now I need to add a wallet for instant zaps (not albey it invite only and not free)
Is there a way to cross-post from sites X, Instagram, YouTube and tiktok so that when I post there, it auto posts to nostr
If you're running umbrel there is a nostr wallet connect app.
Personally I don't like the idea of giving random apps access to my funds.
So I just do 2-tap zaps
The answers you get the very based on the client you're using. (I like amethyst but have been exploring the latest release of primal)
Nostros has a in app wallet you connect to LNbits or lnDhub

Hi, most of the guide/documentation around there when we start with NOSTR included steps with "Alby" but now they have stopped providing accounts to all new people...
Is there an alternative that exists and does the same kind of thing to easily and securely connect to clients & receive zap? Any other extension with the same functionality exists?
From what I can see, being new here myself, I found to connect to dapps, there is No2r, and to add a Zap wallet, you need to do something like sotoshiwallet or a web/mobile like I found vipsats.com
My message of how to do it before was to ensure I had done it right. Witch it looks like I might be adding wallets without your node. Is hard Without Albey
Well check my profile I found vipsats witch has a website wallet this when added to the wallet address in your settings on iris allows for zaps as for instant zaps you need to connect a wallet witch I have not managed to do as fare
And regarding the question of cross posting... Idk if there's such a tool, but we are here to avoid the algorithms anyway. Nostr is a protocol much much bigger than just the social media aspect. Once you research and fall into the rabbit hole, you'll find out 🐰
