I've hired Bitcoiners who were also into crypto, and it's not a problem at all. What's important is alignment on "Bitcoin": they must get it and value it.

In fact, I've found these to be the great hires:

- they learned a LOT about the value of Bitcoin while at the company. They all sold their shitcoins eventually, and they end up being grateful for the learnings we gave them.

- being into Bitcoin & crypto is also a sign of them being open minded and in the early phase of the journey. this isn't bad

- finally, it challenged us to see the bigger picture and remembering what Bitcoin is all about: powering individual freedom. If they see crypto as an avenue for that, one must respect it.

What matters in the end is natural talent, hunger for growth, and having a basic understanding on the value of Bitcoin.

Do you have a policy around front facing employees being United on the bitcoin only message?

Or does it just end up that way?

Definitely had to be, because the company mission is tied to bitcoin winning.

Geyser’s mission is to kickstart the bitcoin economy. We must all be aligned on the problems Bitcoin solves (the systemic problems of inflation + central banking) to get the company mission. And it must be explicitly stated. We are all on a mission to power bitcoin, because Bitcoin also powers us!
