Yeah. Constantly talking about Xand demeaning its users yet still going on there to read the posts (even if it's via a third party such as Nitter) doesn't make sense. It's almost as if X is in fact a better place in some cases 🤔
it is definitely not better, flooded with scammers, lies and bad incentives for engagement, mixed with advertising cancer, and an algorithm that clearly skews to amplifying negativity, hatred, short-termism.
that’s why important and loud voices which balance the scales are important there.
lots of whom have self-censored their voices from there, while like you said maintaining their vision on what’s happening there (almost impossible not to, because it has become the new mainstream).

I deleted my account on Twitter before Elon bought it. What I don't do is constantly criticize X and it's users while going there to read it every single day which is what Matt does. It's almost an obsession. If X is so bad he should stop spending so much time reading it and writing about it & do something more worthwhile because it seems like he should never have deleted his account.

I don't really care about zaps, it's not that important to me. My node went off line & my channel was force closed so I lost some money and I can't be bothered to redo it just to send & recieve zaps on Nostr. When/if the time comes that Lightning is accepted widely enough as a payment system I'll set up my node again. Otherwise I just stack sats & hodl 👍

I've had them before, not Primal though, and they always close them down.
