That's weird...hadn't heard of that.

Oh, unrelated sorta, but friend of mine read I Have No Mouth Yet I Must Scream (or whatever it's called), which you joked about not long ago, and described it to me. Gonna have to read it, but damn does it sound disturbing

If you do read it, don't expect to get much sleep for a day or two πŸ˜‚

The "I hate you" a squillion times but stuck with me. I basically got the whole story told to me, so guess it's a bit spoiled

Love shit like this. This is how I determine what I am going to read next (random chance or is it synchronicity).

It's a very short story I'm told. Somewhat famous, and I guess ahead of its time. I'll have to read asap so I can relate about it!

Me too. Just have to pick it up at the library later.

Yeah. I read Ulysses again because of nostr. It is probably one of the most artistic, genius, hilarious, frustrating, beautiful, heartbreaking, and boring books ever.

Based on BareSoundsProject doing a reading recently? Or some other mention? Oh, think I recall we were talking about it and you mentioned you had "read all the words" in the past. I'm not touching that book again for a long time. May listen to bits with the reading baresounds is doing, but even that I find a bit taxing.

Yep. Very taxing, I had a headache for two weeks. If you want to get all the references it helps to be classically educated, which I am not. 🀣

Yeah, the overhead of material needed to get all references/allusions is too much for me.

It really doesn’t matter though. In the end it is just a simple story. And if you think about it we go about life barely grasping what is going on around us.
