Credentials mean absolute dogshit now. It’s actually sad for the people who truly work their ass off to understand something and get a degree to go with it, because it’s value has been destroyed by all the people with their MAsTErS who can’t do utterly basic shit without a full set of instructions. Way too many people come out of their schooling with barely any more value to contribute above a computer because they are completely incapable without instructions for every single step. No initiative (in fact it’s taught OUT of them), no intuition or understanding of the work environment and how to make decisions, and zero desire to take responsibility for anything.

Sometimes it’s funny, but mostly it’s just sad honestly.
