Whoever they are I hope they've repented of it. It isn't remotely true. They type of money you have doesn't change how you use it. Only virtue will make anything better.

I agree with the saying. Adopting sound money enables an ability to plan for the future, and a lower time preference. Which does make you more virtuous. Doing this at scale is a civilizing process.
