Lucky guy. My gym closed both yesterday and today. Merry Christmas.
Honest question: fine that you're gyming, but why do you feel it necessary to slip in an underhanded snark at many folks' religion? I don't get that.
Spirituality is fine.
Organized religion is dumb.
I was deeply involved in 3 different Christian denominations until I left home for university.
I hear you. If I had a nickel for every time I've heard someone say "organized religion" drove them away from their faith, I'd have a lot of bitcoin! 😀 No doubt the church has made grievous errors at times in a lot of ways. So often I hear these same people say things like, "nature is my cathedral, that's where I find religion" or something of that form. My personal opinion...they're patiently healing.
It's a problem inherent to humans.
Humans will inevitably err, they can't be trusted to run large spiritual organizations piously.
Religion should be as decentralized as possible.
