You need to wait the node to sync, you have a symbol on the app one top rigth that shows you if the node is synchronized or not, than you can interact there.

It's little buggy yet but it's working, it's strange that is happen to not work to you, type text on random chat to see if the testbot replies
If past chats don't load, that should be added in the text cuz other wise it's confusing
Past chats don't load, you start seeing the chats from the time you first log in.
But it is in alpha release, so expect to get better, the app even don't have the applications that you have if you connect on computer and having there a node running, there you have P2P chats, you have a private key and a public key to connect with people, but expect that soon 😉

They said, i was on there yesterday and the conversation was going on, maybe install again to see, with me it work, and with many people that installed the app yesterday were communicating there.

And the best way to use DarkFI at the moment is on computer running a node a using a IRC chat application 😁

Its not the case, i use it kn PC before the app lunch and the conversation and chats is going on. Maybe a bug because the app is in alpha
