Yeah, you get it! Self defense is your only reason for use of force.
I prefer having a shotgun around for it is the best deterrent without having to fire. When you rack a shotgun in the dark, people think twice about whatever they were plotting.
Similar to how when a Jedi pulls out a saber, people pipe tf down for that noise.
