Is it just the two of you? Do you do any marketing? Do you have an online presence at all?
Discussion
By the way, a lot of us bitcoin nerds also know how to build websites.
Some of us even do it professionally! 😉
i’ve tried to convince my dad to do online marketing, i even was building a website, he’s just very old school and doesn’t want to advertise online :/
what about making physical posters and doing targeted radio ads?
radio ads are too expensive for us, i can try to make posters though that’s affordable :,)
his whole thing is not spending money on any advertising or anything unnecessary to always make sure the customers are getting the lowest price
There are tons of great free ways to promote yourself, online and off. The only cost would be your time.
Online listings can help, but a basic informational websites can be also be free (and I’m pretty sure you’d have the skill to tackle that). Doesn’t need to be more than a single landing page with some basic info, services offered, and a phone number. I tell clients all the time that I’m building them a fancy business card, designed to get people to call them.
Fliers you can put up in public are also definitely worth it. Keep it simple, print it yourself, and you just have to run around town with a stack of them and a stapler. If you have, laser printer toner won’t bleed in rain or moisture like inkjet will.
There’s also always going door-to-door and asking people. 💜
we’re commercial so it’s a little bit hard 😂
it’s an interesting problem to solve, would love to help with any designs or whatever to help you gather more traffic to drive business 💜

Disagree! Commercial means you’ve narrowed your focus, can be more specific with keywords, and aren’t competing as much against all of the huge players that advertise everywhere.
That said, I disagree with your dad about a website and it could be a much easier and less expensive project than he thinks.
It sounds like you’ve already got some solid reviews, so continuing to grow your online presence just lends legitimacy to your Google listing and helps increase your rankings in time.
It also creates more ways for potential new clients to find you, even if your site is just a single landing page.
Even if he refuses a website, getting a verified business listing in Google Business would likely bring some phone calls.
we have this!!
