You know French and Portuguese and English?

Portuguese: yes. English: I can read easily, but I write with many incorretions and I talk like a very imbecile.πŸ˜… I'm trying to learn French since 2019/2020, so I can read something.

It's a kind of my personal revolt against the bad education our elites offer to us, the poor of my country.

Well you are more literate than I am. English and working on reading French for about the same amount of time. Does Portuguese help you with French grammar? That's what I mostly struggle with.

No, no. Portuguese did not help me with French grammar. What helps me (and I still struggling a lot with it) are the Latin lessons I took some years ago.

Interesting. I would have thought it being a romance language it would be close to French.

Yea, sure it is. And I thought the same. But the problem must be with me. πŸ˜…
