The issue with DJT is him acting like a businessman. He always operates like he can just “strike a deal” and “negotiate”. There is no compromise or negotiation on fundamental principles. There is no compromising between a robber and the robbed. Any “compromise” of that sort is just a guarantee to any prospective robber “even if you fail to get away with it, you can get half.” Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent. In a compromise between food and poison, only death can win.
