You think the kyc system is the reason people aren’t using bitcoin as money. But really people aren’t using bitcoin as money (medium of exchange) because all of the incentives are against it. Tax treatment, future gains, lack of adoption etc… bitcoin is evolving slowly. You’re relatively new here and you’re excited about the future and you think it should happen now rather than later because it’s a moral imperative and you’re right, it is. But you’re also not rich enough yet (you will be later on) which means you’re still stuck in the fiat slave system and you’re sort of torn between nihilism and optimism. One foot in the old world, one foot in the new. This is common and everyone goes through it. Not unique to you. I went through it too. So of course you need it to happen fast because you want to resolve the tension, but it will take the time it takes to bootstrap a new monetary system into existence. That timing is beyond any of us. There’s an order of operations to bitcoins continued dominance and unfortunately we aren’t yet at widespread medium of exchange. So fight the good fight. Tilt at me if you want, I don’t care, but just know you have a long road ahead of you in this fight. Bitcoin is a long bet.
