I bet it was! That’s a keen intersection of nostalgic design with the modern need for e-commerce. I’m kinda trying to go there myself with my current project, https://conduitbtc.com. One of the coolest styles to explore, that “nostalgia 2.0”, and you’ve done it really well here.
Yeah. The business logic of my service also resembles old web, when e-commerce automated only search and making order parts of sell. But payments and later handling of order were proceed mostly in manual manner.
Oh cool. I remember back in the day we'd have to send payment separately; the checkout flow would generate an invoice, and then the order would be outstanding until paid. Is that kinda what you're talking about?

No. Back-end is written in Golang.
