People are so addicted to the constant barrage of information from Twitter that it’s difficult for them to quit.
Nostr eliminates the noise but offers a different type of addiction.

Good morning, I was literally just contemplating the move from Twitter, a few of my favorite people/projects are on there. I was contemplating in trying to substitute them with their RSS feed or newsletter if they have one. Then dropping the bird.
Funny thing is I never got addicted to Twitter. Never really used it or opened it and then deleted it a while back. However, I’m hooked on #nostr. Why? Because it feels like I’m reading notes written by real people and their life experiences - more like a messenger - all while it evolves…
I wonder how much is the platform vs the people. Do addicts just tend to use tiktok or did tiktok make them addicts?

I am not addicted but I have to admit that I get very excited when I get zap’ed, a like or a comment. Mainly because it comes from people likeminded, or people I admire. 😁
