Yes’sir, personal. Been growing three years. Pipe tobacco. Might try to roll a cigar this year.

Havana 142 from Victory seed company. I don’t blend, just smoke it.
After curing, do you bale them for aging? Would love to see the progress. I smoke a pipe regularly and have yet to grow any for myself. Keep saying next year is the year, so.. next year is the year.
I stack them in a humidor box I made, after completely cured I’ll process for pipe tobacco. I store long term in mason jars with Boveda packs. Still learning the tweaks for best flavor but it smokes just fine.

can you expand on how you cure? i have grown tobacco many times but mostly for seeds since no time to cure. but next year... i hope curing is not too difficult?

I made a curing chamber out of an old cooler, heat pad and humidifier from amazon.

I just harvested one of my plants. This was the first year I grew tobacco and I never realized how sticky and huge they would become. Almost took over the polytunnel.
Nice. I tried growing my own this year with mixed results. I've color cured and experimenting with fermenting now. Quite excited.

Been growing little dutch for 2 years now and it's excellent for pipes. Very aromatic.
All up, I grew 7 different varieties this year.
Burley, Virginia, Monte Calme Brun, Turkish, Florida Sumatra, Little Dutch, and Punche.
