#[0] Sparrow provides a PDF for printing the output descriptor QR for backing up multisig metadata, but I don't see a way to scan that QR in the File > Import Wallet dialog. Am I missing something?
Discussion
Pretty sure you just select the file.
It's a printed paper with a QR on it.
Ah i thought you had the file on an SD card.
So youre trying to recreate your multisig watch only?
Simulating the scenario of losing digital devices and digital backups. Ideally I could import the descriptor then plug in seeds to move corn.
Pull the descriptor info from the QR and paste it into sparrow.
I use specter - so hard for me to tell ya.
You’d create a “new” wallet in Sparrow, but when setting the wallet up, you hit the camera icon next to the descriptor in the wallet settings.
I was able to get it to work using "New Wallet"!
Friendly feature request to #[3]:
Allow users to accomplish the same thing through the "Import Wallet" dialog by adding a Scan button next to the Load File button on the Output Descriptor row.
This will make writing directions for disaster recovery or inheritance *much* simpler.
Thanks!

try creating a new wallet instead then scan…
