IN CASE YOU ARE STILL WONDERING WHY YOU SHOULD BE FUNDING INDEPENDENT MEDIA

Yesterday, CoinDesk published long debunked terrorist financing allegations, announcing the seizure of $200,000 in cryptocurrency allegedly linked to Hamas.

"Hamas has been using cryptocurrency to move some of its money since at least 2020, in order to mitigate the risks of physically transporting cash and to evade financial monitoring," CoinDesk cites the Treasury.

But CoinDesk itself had extensively reported on the false claim that Hamas relies on cryptocurrency financing for its operations, which was debunked by Treasury officials last year.

In 2023, CoinDesk was bought by Bullish Global, a venture of Block . One, co-founded by Epstein associate and Tether co-founder Brock Pierce.

Pierce maintains close relationships with the Israeli Government as well as with the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, which advocates for the jewish settlement of "Judea and Samaria".

How do we know though if they don’t finance part of their operations in Bitcoin?

Shouldn’t Bitcoin be for enemies?

Shouldn’t they be able to also finance immoral activities in a private uncensorable way?

I have a very simple rule. If you do not bother to read the article, I do not bother to answer your questions.

Fair enough 😂

I’ve read the article now. But my question remains the same.

Hamas claim that they don’t accept Bitcoin anymore doesn’t make it true..

I'm not sure why they should be expected to exclusively is the USD for all of their dealings.
