Watched Arrival (2016), a sci fi drama directed by Denis Villeneuve. When 12 alien ships land on earth, a language expert is hired by the American military to communicate with the visitors. While she learns their circular handwritten language, she starts perceiving visions that blend the past and the future. The film explores themes of communication and the cost of understanding species and timelines. The photography of this movie is beautiful. The special effects as well. The way the aliens look is very interesting. Out of all of Villeneuve’s movie, I find this one to be the most vanilla/mass appeal. The dreams of the fake daughter are very boring. It gets worse every time I see it. 6.8/10 #nodereviews
Fake daughter was real - in the future, no?

Yes, very much real.
Yes. In the future yes. I don’t know about the what ifs though. Makes for a weak plot. His other movies feel more real
