Okay. So obviously no one under 26 can ever join the military. We can't have child soldiers. and clearly no one under 26 can work full time. That would be child labor. So you want to kick tens of millions of active working people out of the productive economy, and who will support them? Who's gonna make up the billions in tax revenue that that huge number of newly made "children" no longer pay?

If sex with a minor is "statutory rape" and you raise the age of majority to 26, then we somehow have to police the sex lives of tens of millions of people aged 18-25 to make sure they never have sex with anyone 28-32. How's that gonna work? Practically speaking you're talking about criminalizing the sex lives of tens of millions of people. That's gonna cost a bundle, in dollars, and in human suffering.
