If you don't believe cbdc's are coming, take a look into America's test laboratory (Brazil) and the shit they are making down there taxing small businness' PIX and implementing DREX, a cbdc. The government is also planning to criminalize fiat paper money this year.

This is ushering into the destruction of Brazilian Real, the decimation of the autonomous worker economy, but much more than that, in a broader perspective, even credit cards would be affected, since people would avoid using them because every transaction will be monitored by the government, with a tiny limit under compulsory taxation. So, the economy is doomed, and people will be trapped into their debts, so that the fkn state can have full control over people's lives and assets.

This last measure of monitoring every pix transaction wii affect chiefly autonomous workers and very small business...EVEN STREET BEGGARS WILL BE TAXED!!!!

All of that because the government spends much more than it can, with things like 1 billion reais last year thrown into the trash bin with presidential 100 people team world wide touristic travels... I heard they are also planning to buy 1btc of decorative flowers this month, for the presidential dependecies and things like that, in a country where millions of people barely have what to eat.

On the other hand, this is leading to a huge wave of awareness about bitcoin...

Fiat paper money is gone (check out Norway, Sweden, China) cbdc's are coming globally (with ripple or/and other centralized blockchains). That's why bitcoin matters. Mark my words, wait and see, but be prepared...

Good thing you understand CBDC

ALL of Trumps admin is against CBDC

ALL OF Them.

Most are pro bitcoin and OWN bitcoin.

Odds?

They are “against” a government CBDC; all signs point to a defacto private/public CBDC a la Tether, Circle, etc.

Show me 1 sign.

Just one. That anyone on trumps admin is for any CBDC.

I mean all signs as in that’s where we’re headed whether they are for or against.

I don’t see a true CBDC in the US right now, but I see everyone (mostly) uses centralized, digital dollars through apps like Venmo, PayPal, X (soon), and the major credit card companies.

This has all the downsides of a government CBDC with none of the few upsides of it being run by public entities vs private.
