I love Mint. It's been my exclusive distro for about 10 years now. Do you use xfce or cinnamon?

Cool... I prefer xfce, but cinnamon is nice, too. Have you tried xfce? Or did you just go with the default?

I've tried xfce, not a huge fan of it personally. It's not trash or anything but Cinnamon just feels better to me.
