The ability to submit oneself fully to a higher principle distinguishes the higher human being from the herd.

The challenge however is to find something that’s worth it while not wasting your whole life in search of it.

I agree with the first statement, but isn't the pursuit and the search worth everything by itself? Finding value is in the process much less the result I think. Or do you see it differently?

No I generally agree. It’s a search that’s waste which is the problem. Whether or not that’s the case is up to one owns judgment I guess. I hope as many people as possible come to the conclusion that the pursuit was already part of their arrival.
