How much deeper do I need to look than the "Saint" Augustin? He went out of his way to abuse church authority to avoid scrutiny of his really poorly formulated ideologies that were and are not Christian.
picking people out of church history that are bad or wrong isn’t proof of anything except. Oh wow the church still remains, hands on the faith, sacraments, and the Bible came out of the Catholic Church. It’s not a denomination. Never has been. Have people been corrupt in it ? Of course, millions of great saints as well as many really bad people. Some great saint popes. Some bad popes. But the gates of hell will not prevail. Jesus left the church, gave the sacraments of Eucharist, confession, holy orders etc…. All the divisions away from Catholic Church is a division from the root. Historical - geographical division and argument about the pope… but that was 1000 years after Jesus. Then Protestantism - 1500 years after Christ and drifted even super far away from original beliefs based on ‘Catholic church bad’ momentum abandoning all sacraments, removal of books in the Bible, no authority except ?? Someone’s feelings and personal Bible ? There’s a church and liturgy and sacraments and history and art and saints. For Gods sake the darn printing press didn’t exist until near the reformation. So real Christianity wasn’t discovered without the printing press? Nah. Read the disciples of the apostles…. Read the New Testament actually without seeking proofs for a conclusion.. anyway we all

I am firmly convinced that the entire apparatus of the catholic church from the beginning, was just a satanic attempt at damage control, to undermine and bastardize the church into the control of the powers that should not be.
I'm not going to be convinced otherwise, even if I'm not a scholar on that subject. I bring up Augustin drive he's one of the greatest pillars of catholicism, and he was corrupt, so, therefore, the foundation is corrupt and I will remain as from from that influence as possible.
