Yes,, there is a Rot with the ‘government’ responsible for everything, and responsible for charity.. an obvious rot.. 1. They don’t do it well, or at all 2. The charity becomes a ‘reason’ to tax and control citizenry 3. The citizenry,, normal humans,, outsource charity, and goodness and thought.. to the government or authorities…
there is an enormously deeeeep poverty of genuine community, friendship in today’s world .. we must re-ignite at the local level..
