What defines “god” ?

the words "god" and "angels" are intermingled if you look through all the many texts related to it, as is the word Lord (which usually means a god or angel who is respected by the writer) - and i'm not just talking about semitic or even european texts, the south americans said this of chocolate when the spanish arrived "this is food of the gods" so it got the scientific name "theobroma" meaning food of the gods

"gods" is basically a synonym for "angels" and THE God, the one that is mostly intended in the biblical text where capitalised, or the arabic version "al lah" is a disincarnate being that is responsible for creating the universe and dictating its laws.

'god' and 'gods' and 'angel/angels' are actually words for people who have been percieved to have power beyond the knowledge of the person observing them

that's all i'm gonna write about it now though, i could back it up with references to many other things as well if i sat down and shuffled through my books

I did myself spend 20 years, with reading the upanishads, the tao te king,

The edda, the veda, the bible and other stuff.

I came to the conclusion, that for understanding the concept, there is a state of soul and a state of mind.

Jesus can be true if you are able to love and connect to that(this is a awsome friend)

The same goes for the om and beyond.

The answer is not as important as the question.

But both is equal.

This is of course just my place that i found for myself, or the destiny.

Its all the same.

It exits out of because it is beyond existance.because it does not.

And the most fun part about that journey is, you live on a planet were you have to survive.

Is the spiritual a other focus point of consciousness ? I would agree on that.

That is why there is always both worlds in All things except of beyond.

Conclusion = Understanding the cosmos does liberate the individual and does not change anything at all, but it does.

I do often think monotheism and believe in many gods , is actually the same.

As for my definition of the therm.

That is in search of truth , which can only be found individually.

I hope opinions and belives are accepted.

there is only one God

it is a corruption of language to call servants of God (and his enemies) "gods" instead of "angels" "fae" "principles" or other similar words, IMO

the whole logic of why Islam specifies only one God is precisely explained in the Qur'an that if there were more than one authority over this universe they would have to disagree and it would annihilate this universe

playing silly buggers with definitions of words is an error when clarity is useful, where equivocation is useless

we don't speak for no purpose, there is always a purpose, even poetry has a purpose, to convey a thought that does not fit into standard idiom or models

this "wishy washy" "whatever you believe is true" nonsense is a sign that you have been decieved, if you sincerely believe this

it is patently obvious that the words are not the thing, but what is not obvious about the deception is that some words create clouds over your ability to perceive the thing

I did believed that also in my past.

There is only one truth we can agree on that.

There is simply no contradiction in the cosmos, by the nature of it.

well, it's a concept, so i guess there must be God and Anti-God, and one is the creator, and loves and cares about life, and the other slays and decays and disorders everything.

as a living thing, i see no sense in worshiping or obeying a principle that literally is death

Christians usually make a distinction about God the Creator, and implicitly, as you point out, that means He is not everything, but it doesn't change the fact that everything else that isn't Him is worthless

God and Anti-God, being opposites, are poles on the same continuum. What's the unifying principle? Isn't that the true God, or the highest, king of kings? But I think its okay to put all of our ideals into one box and call it "the good" and pursue that while excluding the bad. But nothing can be outside of the Highest. The reality of experience is comprised of sets of opposites, but the real world is as oblivious to our dualities as we are of the real world.

i just think, if i am a product of negentropy then why would i value entropy? and if there is two faces to the coin then i am born to fight the one that didn't create me, this is the contradiction of evil

I do think we also need to evolve a consciousness that helps us, leaving and live on this planet in a way, for our species to survive.

#bitcoin could be a good idea, in a too idealistic way, that i want to belive in.

Its the best shot we got.

No illusions with optimism , that is.
