Yes, I grow my own grapes too.

Since I am in the highest elevation wine region in North America, my options for varieties that grow well here are limited.

Pinot Noir does insanely well here, so that's what I focus on.

To give my customers variety, I also buy grapes from the Grand Valley AVA that is only about an hour from me in Colorado.

It took ages for the comments to load otherwise I wouldn't have asked because you've already answered.

I think you should go all in on your own grapes.

Save the money you would have spent buying extra grapes and spend it on expending your vineyard.

Maybe start making a cider or something else if you want to give your customers more variety

Cider would devalue my brand. It's a wine perception thing.

I have a new vineyard close to production and adding more is an 8 year commitment to not making money from the investment which is untenable when thinking about it in a Bitcoin lens.
