Today I officially became a citizen of Australia
Discussion
Congratulations!
Welcome
Congrats dude, personally I havenāt done it because I donāt want to vote, or pay a fine for not engaging in the DeMocrAtIc process.
Yeah, fair call. First thing they give you 1) a certificate to say a citizen and 2) a voting enrolment form stating that it's "compulsory"
Why did I do it? It's part of my longer term strategy to have multiple passports
The day they implement a international tax plan for Australian Citizens, will be the day I rescind it...
Haha DeMocRaTiC - you don't have to vote. Just turn up and get your name ticked off. Fuck the Uniparty
Turning up, means I give into the system.
I donāt agree with the system.
congrats! now put the shrimp on the barbie
Best of luck in Australia.
Congrats but I hope you have a plan b.
Absolutely. And this is part of the multiple passport plan
fellow Aussie here. Just in time for Australia Day, enjoy
Oi, cobber! Bloody ripper news, mateāwelcome to the land of thongs, stubbies, and snag sangas! You're fair dinkum Aussie now, ya pommy legend. Chuck another shrimp on the barbie and crack a cold oneāonya!
