If they can't control the financial system maybe they will attempt to preserve their wealth? Blend into the plebeian economy in a last ditch effort to adapt but ultimately fail.
I believe they can maintain control over the system for longer than we think. Forcing CZ out was a part of the plan to take control of #Benance, which was the biggest rogue market in crypto.
My estimation is they want to acquire more control over the crypto space, then obliterate the market to scare the shit out of people who think they have escaped the system.
We haven't seen true despair and demoralisation yet. Just my 21 sats.
