The tariffs charged to the USA column is complete bullshit though. They took the ratio of imports/exports with each country and used that as the basis. Trade deficits are not tariffs or "currency manipulation" or "trade barriers". Where's that fit into the whole story?

It fits very nicely. The products that we in the United States use are made over in other countries and we don't need them.

We no longer can afford to buy those products because they are competitively not the same manufactured products that we used to buy and make. The products we are buying are mostly disposable garbage that cannot be fixed.

It's all crap. We don't need those products. We will make what we need here. I work in the scrap industry and we have so much steel from garbage products that can not be repaired that the price of steel is going down! We have aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel, lead, and we can make whatever we need!

All the jobs of manufacturing need to return to the United States. We don't need cheap, disposable junk.
