Depends on how much you value using free software over arguably nicer hardware / ecosystem / Damus? Both sides as important, and there’s no wrong answer.
The proper backup solution is really needed on Android.
One of the reasons I really like iOS is being able to back the entire device in a full encrypted backup to restore on any other iPhone.
iCloud integrating E2EE was really nice to see as well.
Their increasing support for PWAs makes me less concerned than I used to be about App Store walled gardens.

me have pixl 4 all cracked and free. put on graphene. Its great! feels great like freedom. pixel 4 so.ewhat crappy phone though. camera not great.
