“Things aren’t built like they used to be”

“Money doesn’t buy what it used to”

These expressions having a positive correlation is no coincidence. Harder money promotes better products.

For this reason I believe a #Bitcoin standard would improve the quality of goods and services we see in society past ANYTHING we have witnessed before.

With a tad bit more stability, companies operating on a #Bitcoin standard could feasibly operate their businesses with products/services so well that most of their customers would only be 1 them customers, and the company wouldn’t “lose” value because of it.

You see this isn’t possible today. Lightbulbs SHOULD be able to run 10k hrs+ and cars SHOULD be able to go 1 million miles with minor maintenance…but EVERYTHING has become trash…and good things LITERALLY become illegal when we operate on a monetary policy that is the equivalent of a DUMPSTER FIRE!!!

Thanks for reading this if you did! Just needed to vent. I am upset with our current world, but I have SO MUCH hope for the future!!!🧡

In defense of cars, they are one of the goods that has gotten significantly higher in quality and reliability over the decades.

Granted their prices have increased to follow that trend

I agree they have gotten better since their creation, but after the gold standard was ended I only see how they have become cheaper and less reliable. The amount of plastic on a new 2023 car vs a car pre ‘79 is atrocious.

Amount of plastic is a poor metric for quality. The plastics of today are incredible materials that are often used because they're better than metal.
