I'm told that Bitcoin has no real world use cases. Please explain to me, then, why the government had to ban bearer instruments rather than simply ask people nicely to stop using them. They were useless right?

Besides the ones in die hard movie what other times in history has mankind cared about bearer bond instruments?
They make those assertions in the face of mountains of evidence that Bitcoin is being used in the real world, which means they haven't taken the time to learn what Bitcoin is and how it's being used by real people around the world, which means, to this point, they don't want to take the time to understand what they don't know, which means their words are noise and can be safely ignored, is the way it seems to me.
