Nonsense.

Anyway, there is no such thing as perfect privacy. Everything has trade offs. Bitcoin can be used privately enough if you know what you’re doing. The trade offs monero makes, for a marginal gain in privacy, is not worth it in my opinion.

A transparent blockchain can't be used privately. Anonymously if you know what you're doing, sure.

It's not a "marginal" privacy gain - amounts and addresses are not visible on it's blockchain. That's pretty damn substantial...
