No criticism is important, I thought about it too, what makes nostr.cooking special IS that it is on nostr, which means it’s not just a recipe website, it’s a social recipe website. There’s a person you like to follow on the internet, well you can also checkout what things they like to cook! Or reverse you like somebody’s recipes, you can also see what’s cooking in their notes 😂 also the indexing problem is only temporary, that problem has solutions people just need to implement them.

I get your point, but if you're on Twitter / Instagram / Facebook / Twitch / ... right now, you can already comment, like and follow on most sites (and if not, there's 1,000,000 others sites where you can).
It's such a "huge" step, without compelling argument right now.
I guess you can zap recipes you liked .. that's a great motivation for regular chefs ( who are NOT a Insta influencer)
Hmm agreed, but do these websites also show recipes from people in your friend list? I get your point it’s not radical atm. It’s not meant to be radical, it’s just a recipe website. But, it might purple pill some people around nostr, not huge in itself yes, but the kind of stuff we need.
I think what we need most ( purely from adoption standpoint ) are the things that enhance the regular web pages .. nostr's value is in improving the internet ..not in replacing it .. some examples - nostri chat , highlighter ..
