This is one of the things I made with my gelli plate last month that I’m really proud of: a birthday card for my mom - sharing now because it finally reached its destination. 💙🩵🤍💛

Process: I roll the paint on the gelli plate, use a toothbrush to make the waves, and spray water to break up the paint. Then I let it dry. Next I roll on a different color blue, put wet strength tissue paper on top and use the brayer to roll the paper flat.

When I pull up the tissue paper, it looks like last photo. Then I cut it up to make the waves.

The sun and the bird were made the same way without adding the water and using different colors.
