Mass produced boxes with rubber gaskets are much better at accomplishing this than printed pieces that snap together.

Do you have any experience waterproofing a 3d print? I have a ham antenna that was a tube and cap. Of course the cap leaked. I was thinking a print that was a cup shape instead removes the weak point of the original design but introduces layer issues.
