Whatever you get, make sure it's a bitcoin only device. If it stores shitcoins it's inevitably worse.
No such thing as a hardware device for bitcoin but rather a signing device. The bitcoin is not in that device.
Also, look into seedsigner. You kind of build it yourself. Probably most secure thing at the moment.

Stick to Open Source options:
SeedSigner (build it yourself)(my #1)
Foundation Passport (pricey)
Trezor BTC only (OG)
BS Jade (shit UX)
Bitbox BTC only (small/simple)
Don't get fooled into the Coldcard marketing, it is not open source.
Depends on the trade offs you are comfortable with.
I like Foundation Passport. It is on the pricier side but is open source, air-gapped, and fairly easy user interface. The company is missionally aligned with the bitcoin community (they don't dabble in crypto) and their products are well designed.
Research all of them and see what you like. Coldcard, Jade, Seedsigner, Passport are all good choices with different tradeoffs. Could also use an offline old phone or computer
I haven’t seen a better architecture than Coldcard/Q.
Tons of sovereign-user options, very minimal attack surface throughout the lifecycle of the device until it gets into your hands.
Love the ColdCard.
But has many features, so apparently you can screw up if you ise features you don't understand.
Saw a lot a whining from someone who used the dice roll feature to generate a seed.
