I literally don’t care how it gets done. Let’s just find a way to do it. Government, private, nonprofit, whatever combo. This is what represents a strong progressive platform in America

- higher, livable wages

- access to great healthcare

- worker protections and 4 day work weeks

- account for AI and if UBI is needed and to what extent

- freedom of speech and more freedoms in general, including privacy, financial freedom, pro-choice, etc

- legalize marijauna and psychedelics

- anti-war. End forever wars

- a bitcoin friendly environment and encourage Bitcoin for workers, pensions, etc. tackle affordability head on

- separate church and state money and state

- overturn citizens united, get money out of politics

- take climate change seriously

That’s just a start.

Absolutely agree. Democrats need a strong shift to the left, Bernie platform to become the norm.

Trying to balance or appeal to conservative voters will only continue leading to disappointing results like we saw this week.

Instead of “take climate change seriously” because I personally think it’s a bullshit big government psyop, you’re not going to convince independents with that message, and there’s not way that you have a large enough sample size of historical data to prove anything. The platform should be advancing nuclear energy and Bitcoin mining.

Ok…but isn’t that the same as taking climate serious? Again I care about the ends.

Lots of Americans believe in man made climate change, like majority.

But yeah going nuclear and finding unique ways to build out renewables, methane capture, etc.

The ONLY way to get money put of politics is to remove the incentive for it to be there. Lawmakers shouldn't have the ability to create laws that benefit one group at the expense of another.
