That's honestly a great point and I've never thought of it that way. I've done a lot of genealogy work and am big on leaving the stories of who we are to the next generation. I've never thought of my handwriting in that way. Something to consider there.

Oddly enough, I have found that my handwriting does improve when using a pencil. The added friction on the paper seems to slow the stroke and overall just the letters just seem more deliberate.

There's an art to penmanship. I've never met anyone that has an interest in pens quite like you do. It's cool to have met you here. 🫡

I would love to see you start journalling! I've been doing it for a short while now and I'm very happy I have. Over time it'll tell a story that my kids could pick up one day and get to know me better than they might have otherwise.

So you might like an extra fine nib. There's typically more feedback with those that might suit you better than a nib that glides over the paper more.

That's super fascinating! I know of several people in my family who have a lot of our physical family genealogical stuff and I would love to go through it and start to compile it.

I'm certainly glad to have met you! Stay in touch! 😊

You know it!

Have you two watched this? I think it’ll float your boats: rescuing diaries and journals

That is remarkable and amazing. I would love to set something like that up in my area!
