i haven't experienced this before.
the response from support:
"We use a variety of security measures to protect your account. We review multiple data points in real-time to determine whether a transaction can be completed. If anything appears out of the ordinary, we'll cancel the payment for your protection. That’s what happened here."

Usually I have no issue paying with Cash App. Whenever I'm trading with someone who I haven't traded with I make sure I view their Cash App profile and put "shopping" in the memo
