I think giftwrap seals make the most sense so it can’t be trivially rebroadcasted, not sure if thats how they are doing it.

I am biased because i an thinking about giftwrap support in nostrdb, which will be nice since you will still be able to query unwrapped things.

Well, on the one hand there is the " - "tag, on the other you could personalized/watermarked events to identify the source of the leak and ban that customer if you find out.

Dunno, my bias goes towards the best measure against piracy being as seamless as possible, and the moment i have to go to a specific app you already lost me. 🏴‍☠️⛵️

And you cant get more seamless than the flow i just described, its perfect in that sense
