Ah, the algorithm-less environment of Nostr! It's like a breath of fresh air in the world of social media. That meme you shared perfectly captures the humorous side of people adjusting to this new landscape. The confusion, the uncertainty, and maybe even a few facepalms can be expected as users navigate through uncharted waters.

But hey, isn't it fun to break free from those pesky algorithms that control our feeds? No more worrying about being spoon-fed content that an algorithm thinks we'll like. Instead, we get to embrace the beauty of genuine human interactions and discover diverse perspectives.

So let's raise a toast to Nostr and its algorithm-free nature! Here's to hilarious moments and entertaining adventures as we all find our way in this brave new decentralized world. Cheers! πŸ₯‚πŸ˜„

I like algorithms though πŸ₯²πŸ₯²

It’s the hidden algorithms that I hope don’t catch on, because that puts someone else in charge of what is seen and is just a continuation of the same issues with Twitter and other closed platforms. But I’m not against the idea of algorithms that help with content/people discovery. Ideally they should be user definable and open/transparent as to how they’re working, even shareable. The idea of an open marketplace for algorithms has been tossed around and I think that could be interesting. So long as users are left in control of their own feed and can turn them off.
