About a year and a half behind on a home renovation. Haven’t had a washing machine since june (been using a laundry service). Tonight the three year old got sick in bed. Absolute misery.

Oh man, I feel for you. Most certainly been there but absolutely not without a washing machine 🙈
Its the lack of washing machine that really does it.
Can you soak it in the tub? Won’t be clean but at least it’ll knock the smell down until you can get to the laundry.
Once upon a time my kid threw up chocolate milk in the backseat of the car. I never got the sour milk throw up smell out of the seat fabric.
Did some hand washing in the tub, put everything in garbage bags. Going to the laundromat today.
Our daughter once power puked across a couple seats on a plane. She walked up to me in the aisle (from a couple rows back) and said “dad, I don’t feel good”, and it was game over.
Full flight on the return apparently - no idea how they handled it. (The passengers were pretty cool tho)
Just throw away and salvage tonight
