Fans of nettle leaf:
I know many people drink it as a tea, but it tastes very savory to me, like a delicious vegetable broth. Do you add any other herbs to make it more of a drink?

Sometimes I'll add in some hibiscus or rose petals If I have it around, but honestly I prefer sautΓ©ing and just eating it like spinach.
mint, fennel, chamomile, liqorice all would probably go nice with it
i think overall that the tea is more beneficial as an external treatment though, in eastern europe it is commonly found as an additive for shampoos
yeah, melissa also
I add thistle, comfrey, Plantain, creeping Charlie, jewel weed, dandelion, yarrow, cleavers, spruce needles, curly dock, garlic chives, walking onion stems. I muscle test(applied kinesiology) to tell how much of each to add. The drink has pretty much eliminated my allergies. It tastes really good like a delicious tea. I fill up one quart jar with a mix of all ingredients and then poor boiling water over it. I only need 1/8 to 1/4 cup per day. When I take some out I add more water. I keep in fridge after cooled. Some people think it tastes good. Others think it tastes bad. I think since I muscle test it for myself it tastes good because it's what my body needs for vitamins, minerals, and nutrients.
Whoa, so many awesome herbs! I think most of those would still take it in even more of a savory direction and make almost a soup π an awesome medicine soup
I have never heard of a muscle test before; how do you do it? I am so intrigued
Look up applied kinesiology. I equate it to gravity and the pull of your bodies energy against what question you are asking. I typically do the lean forward and lean backwards method for self testing. Some people call it witchcraft but I think that's just because they don't understand something so it is scary. I believe it is the ability God gave us and it uses our gut bacteria and electric energy flowing through our body and brain.
I'm only doing a loosely packed quart jar. To much and it would get savory.
I usually throw in up to half peppermint when I use it in tea.
