Good morning, #nostriches!

While waiting for posts for a job to get sorted out (they lost an entire pallet of parts!!!), I've been rearranging my welding booth a bit, cleaning, and making some small improvements. I didn't get any before pics, but, I also got to do a little bit of freehand fabrication. It's been a while since I've done that and it felt very satisfying to turn scrap into something useful. Pictured below is a clamp for the light fixture that I also made. Nothing fancy or "perfect" but, it just needs to hold the fixtures base to the table, and it does, so, I call that a win! Good morning โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿงก

Thanks, Jay!

How's PT going?

PT is going really well. I've been off of my crutches and brace for a little more than a week, and now I can walk to the PT office since it's just a 5 minute walk.

I've still got a long way to go, but as they say, Onward ๐Ÿซก

My surgeon set the next follow-up for next month and said I should be jogging by then.

That's really great to hear! I'm glad it's going well. ๐Ÿ˜

Thank you!

GM!

Thanks! ๐Ÿค—

What works is always better than what's beautiful or perfect.

From every shop space I've occupied to every toolbox I've used has been a progress through functionality.

Nicely done.

From scrap to useful is always satisfying.

Yup. I really am in love with iterative development of, well, everything. It's powerful over time and should be applied to nearly everything

Absolutely
