Good morning, #nostriches!

While waiting for posts for a job to get sorted out (they lost an entire pallet of parts!!!), I've been rearranging my welding booth a bit, cleaning, and making some small improvements. I didn't get any before pics, but, I also got to do a little bit of freehand fabrication. It's been a while since I've done that and it felt very satisfying to turn scrap into something useful. Pictured below is a clamp for the light fixture that I also made. Nothing fancy or "perfect" but, it just needs to hold the fixtures base to the table, and it does, so, I call that a win! What works is always better than what's beautiful or perfect.

From every shop space I've occupied to every toolbox I've used has been a progress through functionality.

Nicely done.

From scrap to useful is always satisfying.

Yup. I really am in love with iterative development of, well, everything. It's powerful over time and should be applied to nearly everything
