Rents went through roof when they did the huge pro tenant move of limiting increases to annual instead of usual half yearly. Landlords err on the side of caution, of course, and increase more than they might have otherwise. Agents get a nice percentage of that too so they advise landlords to increase. 🫣😆

P.S. the reason I suggested November is to sell after initial rush, yet while the tail is still wagging.

FOMO will hit because many will want their "new home" before Christmas and new year. Agents want commissions before holidays too.

Early 2026 much of the frenzy in news will have died off and Easter is super close to end of the Summer break, so a shorter selling season before Winter. Weather less reliable in Autumn. 🧡
