I've been watching some videos about minimalism and want to share my own minimalist wardrobe.

All the clothes I own:

Dress:

Leather shoes, tailored wool/poly suit, tailored cotton shirt, leather belt, 2x pair cotton socks

Summer:

Cotton shorts, linen shirt, hemp/rubber zero-drop sandals

General purpose:

Merino wool polo, cotton jeans, merino wool boxers

Cold:

Merino wool sweatervest, merino wool long-sleeve shirt, merino wool/synthetic blend waterproof socks, cashmere beanie, merino wool gloves

Very cold:

Polyester/down-feather great-coat, army surplus leather boots, army surplus woolen socks

Sport:

Cotton swim trunks, polyester hi-vis vest, polyester hi-vis hat

23 total items for 4+ seasons.

The heavy lifting is definitely being done here by Merino wool under-layers which are antibacterial and thus only need occasional washing. I am a HUGE fan of Merino wool and consider it a super-material that helps me stay warm or cool as needed. The cotton & denim outer layers are similarly resilient.

Yes! Merino wool is amazing. Attempting something similar with my wardrobe with emphasis on comfortability and durability.
